At HSD our classes are built up of free & graded work. Examinations & syllabus work are through the NATD (National Association of Teachers of
Dancing). We are also Government Accredited in Street Dance.
BALLET
A classical Ballet training plus a free, more informal & creative approach to the ballet classes including developing artistry, performance skills & confidence.
TAP
Feel the rhythm in your feet & the beat in your heart. The perfect genre to become your own musical instrument and create rhythm that you can utilise in all other aspects of dance.
MODERN & JAZZ STYLES
Solid technical foundations where the whole body can express itself freely.
FUNK
Foundations in Breaking, House, Hip Hop, Popping & Locking. Your HSD funk teacher was one of the first 25 in the world to be government accredited in Authentic street dance.
CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary is incorporated within our modern classes at HSD as it requires that basic knowledge & understanding of your body in motion to explore it fully.
PILATES FOR DANCERS
A creative mix of Pilates, Yoga & Ballet flow this unique blend of excercises is designed to bring together all your favourite vibes into one class.

WHEN CAN I START CLASSES AT HSD73?
We accept students from the age of 3 into our HSD lower school. At this age we teach basic dance techniques whilst also learning how to be part of a class, having fun & learning with others plus the all important studio etiquette. Fun through movement is at the forefront of these classes which are delivered by fully qualified & DBS checked teachers.
ARE THERE SPACES AVAILABLE?
As we are already established school places are always limited, but we will strive to take on new students when we can. Here at HSD, we don’t like to overfill our classes so that we can maintain our quality, something we’re very passionate about.
