NATD Theatrical Scholarship Finals – Birmingham

WHAT A DAY!!!
We could not be prouder of our girls at the NATD Theatrical Scholarship Finals in Birmingham yesterday.
Rosie Rowson & Lucy Williams you represented your HSD73 family with grace & with respect for your peers, showing pure natural joy for your art plus your work ethic & time management leading up to this moment has been impeccable.
Thank you to the Rowson & Williams families for your constant support for the school & backing for the girls to be a part of this event & opportunity.
Both Lucy & Rosie chose their own music, choreographed 2 of their 3 solos each & sourced their own costumes… with a little help from their friends Miss S & J This takes a great deal of time, commitment & determination whilst also keeping on top of GCSE & A level grades as this process started back in June this year!
The girls entered the Northern heats in June & were 2 of the top six students chosen in the Senior Contemporary, Tap & Modern categories. There were further heats in the Midlands and South taken through the same process & then yesterday all the successful students came together to compete for the finals with over 20 competitors in each section.
This whole undertaking has been completely led by Lucy & Rosie & it has been an absolute privilege & pleasure for us as your dance mommas to see you grow & thrive throughout. We cannot wait to see where this thing called dance takes you both next.
So, without further ado here’s our results for the 2022 NATD Theatrical Scholarship Finals
