NATD Theatrical Scholarships Northern Heats

More 50th year memories were made this weekend as we joined 8 other talented NATD Northern & Midland Area schools at the annual NATD Theatrical Scholarship Heats. A long but very rewarding & enjoyable day for both entering students & our support network of dance friends & fam. 

Our Jemima, Matilda & Lucy Legs danced their hearts out & did their dance family proud, holding their own amongst a sea of Senior level talent but most importantly thoroughly enjoying the experience. 

Mahoosive congratulations to the powerhouse that is Lucy Williams for being 1 of the chosen 5 in every category & winning 3 out of 4 heats. Our Lucy Legs now moves on to the Grand Finals in Birmingham on October 1st where she’ll perform 4 solos in a bid to be an NATD Theatrical Scholarship winner for the 2nd year running!🤞🏼 

We’re excited to see where this Theatrical Scholarship journey will take Jemima & Matilda in future years as they both now have the bug & are already looking forward to & working towards next years event 💪🏼 Another bonus is that some of this years support team of HSDers are now also determined to enter next year, so HSD73s future Theatrical Scholarship team is looking very promising & we couldn’t be more proud & excited.

Thank you to our team of HSD73 cheerleaders who took time out of their Sunday to support their fellow HSDers, it meant a great deal to us & our 3 entering girls to see you there & feel your love & support.

Finally thank you to National Association of Teachers of Dancing – NATD  NATD Northern Area for a smooth running, supportive, inclusive & most importantly enjoyable event. Congratulations to all winning entrants & schools & all the best to all finalists as we move forward to the Grand Finals.
