NATD examination session number 3 please! Another great day for the 50th memory book. Modern, Tap & Ballet we’re on the menu today from Rainbows through to Grade 5 Tap & we could not be prouder of our HSD73 fam. Big thanks to our very own Miss Nomes & Miss PJ for their constant support & to our lovely Lynda as always for the scrummy lunch. NATD Theatrical Scholarships Northern Heats
More 50th year memories were made this weekend as we joined 8 other talented NATD Northern & Midland Area schools at the annual NATD Theatrical Scholarship Heats. A long but very rewarding & enjoyable day for both entering students & our support network of dance friends & fam. Our Jemima, Matilda & Lucy Legs danced their hearts out & did their dance family proud, holding their own amongst a sea of Senior level talent but most importantly thoroughly enjoying the experience. What a clever, dedicated & talented bunch we are, with the most amazing support network we could ever hope for 💚💙 This past week has been a real treat to watch our HSDers present their NATD examination work to family & friends & revel in their success whilst sustaining our 50 year achievement of 100% pass rate with a full set of distinctions with marks ranging from 80 through to a whopping 97 out of 100! 🏆 As this years GCSE’s & A Levels come to their very welcome
Birmingham Hippodrome
A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER This last Saturday 3rd June we took a 20 strong team to the prestigious @brumhippodrome to join talented dance schools from around the country at another @chance2danceuk event. These guys know how to organise a positive, inclusive event, bringing multiple schools together, 2 shows a day for multiple days is a real challenge but they always nail it & always with a smile… Once again thank you CHANCE2DANCE you’re the best in the business..Our HSDers did the fam proud as always, making more wonderful
2 Years
2 Year anniversary of being Cancer free. This little beaut spent her dance lesson today on the recovery bike with a broken foot peddling away with a smile on her face. She’s still working hard on that body and boy is it paying off. We salute you Libs. A true legend. ✌️❤️🔥

We’ve enjoyed a very special week celebrating our HSDers here at HQ. Seeing our dance family supporting each other at our exam presentations has been heartwarming & makes us grateful for each & everyone of you, students & supporters alike. To be able to open our HQ doors to friends & family has once again reminded us that our ‘Happy Quarters’ is a truly unique space & that after 5 years & much hard graft we remain proud & grateful for it each & every day. March Exams
Well that’s a wrap on our first set of @NATDdance examinations of the year. We want to give a big shoutout to our awesome parents and everyone who made our exam day a success! To Miss Paige, Miss Nomes & Miss India for giving up their Sunday to get our groups ready and prepped at the door, everything ran smoothly and flawlessly and the kids were happy, what more can we ask for?
